Bangalore Airport Improves Realty In Sahakara Nagar

Erstwhile government settlement Sahakara Nagar popularly known as Sahakar Nagar has grown to be an upcoming suburb in Bangalore. Formed in the early 1980s, this locality is largely residential, with some unorganized businesses and retail units. Mostly occupied by the Ministry of Communication employees, Sahakar Nagar today enjoys a good location, reasonable prices coupled with its close proximity to the airport. After 45 new wards were included in the Bangalore metropolitan agglomeration, this locality became a part of the BBMP (Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike).

The neighborhood is well structured with good and organized layout, as it is fairly new and well planned. It is sub-divided into seven blocks starting from A to G. It is surrounded by other upcoming areas like Hebbal, Vidyaranyapura, and Kempapura and NH7 (National Highway) provides good access to Sahakar Nagar. There are regular buses from Majestic (Kempagowda), Shivagi Nagar, KR Market and Vidyaranyapura to Sahakar Nagar. Apart from NH7 the Hebbal Ring Road also offers access and connectivity to Sahakara Nagar. Social infrastructure is excellent with the best international and popular national retail outlets and hospitality chains here. There are many schools and colleges around the vicinity too.

The area has many important landmarks namely the NCBS (National Centre for Biological Sciences), Bhupati Tennis Village and the Jakkur Airfield and Pilot Training Academy. But the most important development around Sahakar Nagar by far is the BIAL (Bengaluru International Airport) just 27 km north of the locality. Since the airport became fully functional the localities in and around have come into the spotlight. Once unobserved plots for sale in Sahakar Nagar and are now in high demand for commercial as well as residential purpose. There is a sudden shift in the prices since the completion of the international airport.

Today Bangalore city real estate prices have hit an all time high number. There is limited availability of land or apartments within the city. This has eventually given way to many projects in the northern suburbs of Bangalore. Things are looking up as builders are now announcing projects like According to expert reports and analysis, the airport along with the Bangalore Metro project will alter the real estate scene in the city.

As infrastructure grows, prospective home buyers will not shy away from investing in the suburbs. When distance is no longer a hassle, chances are that buyers will consider living in the suburbs rather than the city. With good availability of land parcels in Sahakar Nagar, it becomes a great prospect for the home buyers. Builders like Venkata Sai Properties and Builders, Kumari Builders and Developers and Krushi Properties have projects in Sahakar Nagar. Prices of apartments here fall under the affordable range. You can buy a 2BHK flat for roughly INR 25 to 30 lakhs. Gated communities are another popular trend seen in this area. Because of the availability of land developers are able to plan such large scale projects with all the amenities. The realty sector will surely see an upward trend in this region in the years to come.
